Brief Church History

The whole journey started as a family bible study that later grew into a neighborhood study group and street evangelical team. Our first Sunday service was held on December 30th, 2001 in Pastor James’ living room with 27 persons attending. We worshipped in the Pastor’s house for six months and later moved to a storefront on 838 Secretary Drive Arlington, TX., in July, 2002. We moved to our current location in July 2005. RWC is a growing evangelical church and have been consistent in the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost world. Through our evangelism, we have been able to build relationships with people of diverse race and personality. We desire to see a church that can transform society through the power of personal salvation and be a physical example of God’s unity in Christ Jesus.

Our Vision

Our vision is to behold the Glory of God in Jesus Christ through His counsels of healing, deliverance, restoration, prosperity, holiness, reconciliation, and victory.

Our  Mission

To reach the un-reached; disciple, and empower believers for Christian ministry. Be a church that not only gather for worship but also preaches and teaches the Word of God for life application. Evangelize our community for Christ. Be a church for all! ? We intend to...

  1. Fellowship with people of different age groups, races, color, religion, and denominations.
  2. Focus on family relationships by teaching and encouraging the use of biblical values to bring the life of Jesus to every aspect of family situations
  3. Encourage a life style of worship through reverence for, and obedience to the Word of God.
  4. Engage in street evangelism and counseling to the homeless, drug-addicts, and prostitutes through provision of shelter, food, clothing and sharing the Word of God.
  5. Provide help to the single parents, the abused, neglected, raped or molested persons through trained Christian Counselors.
  6. Implement prison and hospital ministries for restoration and healing respectively
  7. Provide scholarship fund to Bible vocational students
  8. Be a lighthouse to our community.

We believe God is more than able to make something good out of our lives. Nothing is too late with Him; in fact, it is His specialty to remold our broken human lives, reshape and repackage them for His Glory.
